Havn't been out for a while with work and domestic duties (still fixing the winter garden storm damage!). Could see a few white horses on the sea at lunchtime so figured it was windier than last nights TV forecast. Arrived at the beach at 2ish and felt like good 12m weather (showing 15-18). As soon as I rigged the kite I knew it was a mistake, but went out anyway, but after 1/2 hour I decided that the 9m kite really would be far better than hanging on to the 12. Switched kites and was fantastic for a while, but gradually adding more and more depower! Stuck with it for 3 hours and the last hour was fantastic, sea went buttery smooth in places and perfectly powered on the 9. All in all a really nice sail. One windsurfer out, and Blashito came out not long after me (but I think with the right size kite!).
